Poem: Cold Thaw

fingers
pin me
down
beneath
spring letters
spelling yesterday
and tomorrow
with a kiss
walking
my parched
winter lips

thigh clasping
arches
capture my
marionette hands
submissive
to your gifted
alphabet strings

you are
etched
in cement
of my warm
woman flesh
though absent
from my
corporeal vision
