You are changing, in the throes of transformation.

Perhaps you are surviving a shattering of some kind – career shift, relocation, relationship changes, loss and grief, crisis of faith, a dark night of the soul. Maybe you are moving through a betrayal, a trauma, or integrating neurodiversity or chronic physical illness into your life.

Perhaps you are claiming a queer identity, attempting an open relationship or exploring polyamory, experimenting with BDSM, or navigating gender transition.

Maybe you are a marginalized mother – single mother, birth mother, a mother who lost or relinquished custody of your child(ren).

No matter your circumstances, traditional systems with their oppressive practices are not serving your needs. You are looking for something different, for someone who trusts what you know about your process, and for guidance from someone who will not pathologize any aspect of your being.

Whoever you are and whatever the reason you are here, you do not have to stand alone on the bridge between who you were and who you are becoming. I can stand with you to provide support, resources, and a safe container in the liminal space in which you can experiment with new possibilities.

The word liminal comes from the Latin word limens, meaning literally, “threshold.”

“A liminal space, the place of transition, waiting, and not knowing is a unique … position where human beings hate to be… It is when you have left the tried and true, but have not yet been able to replace it with anything else… It is when you are between your old comfort zone and any possible new answer. If you are not trained in how to hold anxiety, how to live with ambiguity, how to entrust and wait, you will run…anything to flee this terrible cloud of unknowing.” Richard Rohr

Instead of running, I ask you to stay and discover what the liminal space has to show you. I hold liminal space for you to process the big change(s) happening in your life and experiment with ways of engaging the change consciously and meaningfully. You decide what you are open to. I offer presence, listening space, conversation, intuitive insight, Tarot, as well as suggest teachers, tools, creative acts, spiritual practices, rituals, and other resources for managing the process of change in an intentional way. I draw from a wide variety of human traditions – psychology, spirituality, sociology, women’s studies, sexuality, etc. I have 25 years of intentional study of this being human that shape my understanding of how to survive the hardness of this world with grace.

I don’t believe in quick fixes or 10 steps to anything that matters. I don’t have a formula or program to sell you. We cannot cure our heartache and grief, but we can seek how to be wholehearted in our experience of it. I believe life is a journey where everything that crosses our path is a possibility for learning, growing, healing, and meaning making. My gift is for transforming tragedy into beauty and meaning. I desire to share what I’ve learned with you.

This is about experimentation and creating YOUR unique practices for resilience. This is about figuring out how YOU can find beauty and meaning in the hardness, how YOU can transform tragedy into a narrative of triumph. I want to empower you to be your own therapist, healer, and guru and set yourself free.

I do not call myself a coach. I think of myself as a Guide. A guide has traversed the passage several times and can hold space for a fellow traveler to explore, experiment, adventure, fall down, problem solve, discover their resources and figure out what to avoid. A guide can help a person understand what tools exist and how to use the ones that are appropriate for the journey.

One Time Session – 1 hour – For addressing a single issue together through conversation and Tarot (which will help me see into your situation). This is also an opportunity for you to see how I work, if we have the chemistry you are looking for, and make an informed decision as to whether I can be of  use to your process. Packages – 3 Sessions $150, 6 Sessions $300

We can schedule packaged sessions according to your needs – once a week, one a month, or whatever works best for the transformation that you are navigating right now.

The Fine Print

I require payment when a session is scheduled. If you desire a package, you can pay all at once or for each session individually before they take place. I will send invoices as appropriate.

If you are unable to make a session, you can re-schedule before we are scheduled to meet. Cancellations or reschedules without notice are charged at half payment. Either way I will work to find another time with you as soon as possible.

While I am a scholar and seeker in a variety of religious and spiritual traditions, I do not represent a particular religion, denomination or belief system.

When you schedule a session, you are committing to the understanding that I am not a therapist and this not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment. I am a guide on the journey to your truest self. I will help you experiment and find the ways that you can be your own therapist, guru, and healer or point you in the direction of the kind of practitioner that can assist when appropriate.

If you have questions or would like to discuss the possibilities before making a commitment, please fill out the contact form below and I will get back to you to schedule a discovery call.
